Bride of Ollichon - Heather
Heather | American dream
How long have you been together?
It will be seven years on November 17th.
Who proposed to who?
Brett proposed while we were on vacation in Key West.
Where did you get married?
Venue 1902 in Sanford, Florida.
What was your inspiration to go dress-less?
I saw Solange Knowles’s pre-wedding jumpsuit back in 2014 and I saw an unconventional style I could get behind. Since I own a lot of jumpsuits already, it just made the perfect fit!
How did you feel in your outfit?
It and I both felt amazing the whole day! I was able to dance like I wanted to and only had to worry about the cape a few times during pictures.
The food! We lucked out on our caterer and they did such a wonderful job, not only the food itself but allowing it to represent us and on our food tastes.
The decorations put together by our wedding planners. We got a wood sign saying “The Dalys” that hung in the hall and now hangs over our bed. It’s so perfect.
Did anything not go to plan?!
Yes, but nothing we hadn’t planned for or were able to remain flexible about.
Saying “I do.” Seven years is a long time for a couple to grow together as a whole and it's been a hell of a ride so far. It was the perfect capsulation of our love and commitment together, and was such a wonderful moment to be able to share with our families.
What did Brett, your family and friends think about your outfit?
They were all sceptical of my choosing at first and would send me other dress ideas all the time, but now they can't stop talking about it and saying how its fits so right with me and my style.
Will you wear it again?
Definitely! I want to wear it to different locations in Florida where we have been together and take more pictures.
Thank you so much for being real and helping me accomplish the most laid back classic feel I could possibly ask for in a wedding outfit. I was so obsessed and delighted when I found you; I followed you on all social media accounts just so I could stay up to date with your designs and styles. I couldn’t stop myself when it arrived and must have tried it on every other day
