Bride of Ollichon - Chloe
How long have you been together?
10 years. We met just as Craig was heading off to University - we managed 4 years long distance before we were finally in the same place.
Who proposed to who?
I proposed to Craig on leap day. I only decided 48 hours before, but I knew it was the right decision and couldn't wait! I think that is probably the most shocked I have ever seen him - but he fortunately said yes!
What was your inspiration to go dress-less?
I wanted to feel like me on the day. I'm not into big dressy dresses normally so it didn't feel right to wear something completely different for my wedding.
How did you feel in your outfit?
AMAZING! I loved wearing it and knew it was the one as soon as I put the skirt on. I felt comfortable and relaxed all day and I felt like me - which was the most important thing. Also the pockets were brilliant!
It was the outfit - easily!
I'm not sure there were any huge surprises on the day, but we were both overwhelmed by how incredible it was and we had the best time. We did a DIY wedding in a village hall, so it was a little risky but it definitely paid off.
Did anything not go to plan?
We did DIY flowers and they all nearly died the day before - Mother of the groom, groom and an army of friends saved the day while I tried not to panic!
Seeing Craig for the first time as I walked down the aisle - so many emotions!
What did your family, friends and Craig think about your outfit?
I got so many compliments about my outfit! I think Craig was surprised it wasn't a dress but loved it. People knew I would wear something a little different.
Will you wear it again?
I'm not sure - maybe the top. The skirt is so special that I am not sure I would want to!
The whole experience with House of Ollichon was amazing. From the minute we stepped into the studio Hannah made us feel relaxed and welcome. She really took the time to get to know me and what wedding we were planning and used this to help advise on the outfit. I cannot recommend Hannah and the team enough!
