Bride of Ollichon - Lucy
Our gorgeous Bride of Ollichon this week is the lovely Lucy who was so tempted with two of our pieces she went for both! Thank you Lucy for sharing your special day with us.
How long have you been together?
Where did you meet?
We were set up on a blind date by a work friend of mine!
Where did you get married?
We had our ceremony at Dulwich College Old Library, a lovely wood-paneled and traditional space followed by the reception at One Friendly Place in Deptford, an amazing 3-level warehouse filled with loads of crazy props!
What was your inspiration to go dress-less?
I wanted a less formal feel to the day, a big dress just isn't me and it felt right for a London wedding to have something a bit more modern. I was thrilled when a friend mentioned House of Ollichon to me as I was struggling to find options.
How did you feel in your outfits and how did the double outfit approach go?
I just couldn't decide between them so treated myself to both!! The Le Fay was a surprising pick for me but it just felt so modern and cool (I loved the pockets in the skirt in particular!). It was really fun to change in the evening, I felt a bit like a diva, but the Kay jumpsuit was just so comfortable and glam for the evening.
Oooh I can't pick between them! Both outfits had a different feel!
That I wore a crop top!!!
What did you family and friends think about your outfits?
Loved them and everyone kept saying they were so "me" which is important!
Will you wear them again?
Yes, I'll most probably wear the jumpsuit again, I might even dye it!
Hannah and House of Ollichon were great from start to finish. I loved the try on session at the Hoxton Hotel, it felt so personal and loads of fun! Communication about my order was great and the outfits arrived on the date promised. The little touches included in the box made it feel extra special. Would definitely recommend to any bride who wants something a bit different, cool and unique!
